The role requires adaptability to float to pediatric floors and other units as needed, supporting both clinical and operational needs within the healthcare provider.

Job Details

  • Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • Education Requirements: CA RN License.
  • General Requirements: 2 years of NICU experience at Level 3 or 4, pediatric experience, and proven charting experience in Epic.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Experience: 0 years minimum.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Administration of blood and blood products, management of arterial lines, feeding support, high flow nasal cannula use, ventilator management, neonatal assessments, and family education.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Submittal Requirements: Proof of CA RN license, certifications, references from most recent employer, with full employment history for any prior employment at university-affiliated medical facilities.
