Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position located in Reno, Nevada. This role involves providing comprehensive patient care to neonatal patients within a Level III NICU or higher, ensuring positive clinical outcomes through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position requires delivering advanced nursing services to neonatal, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including support to their families and caregivers.

Job Details:

  • Location: Reno, NV
  • Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); Education: Valid Nevada State Registered Nurse license; Experience: minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in level 3 NICU or higher, ventilator trained; Other: Ability to obtain and maintain a Nevada Registered Nurse license prior to hire.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required at the organizations discretion, up to the competency level of the nurse.
  • Additional Information: Travelers may be required to float to the needs of the organization up to their competency level. They will be required to pick up one additional shift during the schedule period. The schedule varies based on department needs and may include weekends, holidays, and call shifts. The position is located at the organizations facility in Reno, Nevada.
