Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in McKinney, TX. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting, with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care. The assignment is scheduled for a thirteen-week period with nights shifts, offering an opportunity to work within a busy and dynamic healthcare environment.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Texas RN license, BLS certification, NRP certification, at least 2 years of hospital/specialty experience including Level III NICU experience, ability to attend deliveries including C-Sections, and must be able to work the specified schedule
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system, team player attitude, and advanced NICU skills
• Additional Information:
  • Unit specifics include 7 beds with patient ratios of 2:3
  • Equipment used includes BCPAP and HFN
  • Documentation in Meditech and CPNS systems
  • Candidates must adhere to dress code requiring royal blue and/or white scrubs and maintain a professional appearance with neat and clean hair, no artificial nails, and body art covered.
  • The unit has a floating policy as needed, with attendance policies in place according to company standards.
