Alliance Services, Inc. is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Park Ridge, Illinois.
Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2196
$500 CONTRACT COMPLETION BONUS
Opportunity:
RN - Neonatal Intensive Care Nurse
Job Details:
• Float pool position requiring travel to both campuses in Oak Lawn and Park Ridge
• Assignments are posted 90-120 minutes prior to shift start
• Weekend rotation every 3rd weekend
• No on-call requirements
• Time off requests go through manager for approval
• Minimum 1.5 years of NICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Patient population includes premature infants, unstable newborns requiring medical care, and surgical patients
• Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 with no CNAs on unit
• Required certifications: BLS, NRP
• Required skills include SERVO and HFOV vents, traches, chest tubes, and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO)
• Must be proficient with umbilical and arterial lines and drips
• Must be comfortable with NG, G-tube, and enteral feeds
• Charting systems used: EPIC, Pyxis, Alaris, and Phillips monitor
• 24/7 support from Respiratory Therapy and Neonatology on unit
• Charge nurse is free floating
• Nurses station and bedside monitoring available with no tele tech
• Scrubs are provided on the unit for infection prevention purposes
• Free parking available on site
• Orientation consists of 1 shift on the unit with another RN

This facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital operating as a Level 1 Trauma and Level III NICU center with 180 beds. The hospital provides comprehensive neonatal and pediatric care with robust 24/7 support services including respiratory therapy and neonatology. The facility maintains high standards for infection prevention and patient safety, offering a well-supported environment for nursing professionals.
