Job Summary
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position is located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized care to neonatal patients across various gestational ages and acuity levels in a Level III NICU environment. The nurse will be responsible for maintaining high standards of patient care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and adhering to hospital protocols and best practices.

Job Details

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Must have at least 2 years of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) experience, with current certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE preferred.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with IV insertion, delivery room stabilization, CPAP, and ventilator management.
  • Additional Information: The unit has 25 beds with patient ratios of 1:2-1:3. Equipment includes Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), ventilators, High Flow Nasal Cannula, feeding pump, breast pump, and Alaris infusion pumps. The Electronic Medical Record system used is Epic. The assignment starts on 10/12/2026 and concludes on 01/11/2027.
