Job Summary:
The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Nurse position is located in a healthcare facility requiring expertise in neonatal patient care. This urgent role involves providing specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns, including ventilator management, oscillators, pressors, and micro preemie support. The successful candidate will be able to start by 10/26/2026 at the latest, with expedited onboarding, and must have the flexibility to work night shifts.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state/district, NICU experience of at least 2 years, stable enough to perform ventilator management, oscillators, pressors, and care for micro preemies, current certifications including NRP, BLS, and STABLE, and must be able to respond to neonatal emergencies.
  • Preferred Qualifications: NICU experience of over 3 years, ability to perform bedside procedures such as IV insertions, intubations, and blood sample collections.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should be comfortable managing neonates admitted from labor and delivery, with a patient population ranging from as early as 23 weeks gestation to 4 months. The role involves caring for infants with conditions such as respiratory distress syndrome, sepsis, and congenital anomalies, utilizing services like noninvasive nasal CPAP, mechanical ventilation, and nitric oxide inhalation therapy.
