Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 1 year of recent NICU nursing or acute care nursing experience preferred
• NRP certification required prior to start
• BLS certification required prior to start
• RNC certification preferred
• Ability to work night shifts in a high-acuity neonatal intensive care unit
• Must be able to provide a valid driver's license with submission packet
• Must live 100 miles or more from the facility for travel consideration

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to premature and critically ill infants in the NICU
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians, neonatal specialists, and the care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
• Administer medications and perform NICU nursing interventions according to protocol
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and thoroughly
• Support families with compassionate communication and education throughout the care journey
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment within the unit
