Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nurse in the metropolitan area. This position involves providing direct clinical care to neonatal patients on a night shift schedule. The role includes supervising staff, supporting the facility's chief nursing officer to ensure high-quality, safe patient care, and managing clinical resources effectively throughout the assignment duration.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights, 12 hours shift, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid license as a registered nurse, degree in nursing, orientation to neonatal intensive care, and 0 years of experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in neonatal intensive care units preferred.
  • Additional Information: The NICU Registered Nurse will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, and implementing direct clinical care to assigned neonatal patients on a per shift basis, and at the unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support the facility chief nursing officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, staff competency, and resource management related to patient care.
