  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS and NRP certifications; minimum of 1 year of level III NICU experience; diploma or degree in Nursing; active state licensure; flexible to work rotating weekends and holidays.
  • Responsibilities: Care for neonatal patients ranging from 27 weeks gestation and above, including trach infants, preemies, and patients with central lines such as Broviacs. Utilize advanced skills including respiratory management (up to intubation), central line management, and procedures like PDA ligations and gastroschisis reductions.
  • Additional Information: Candidates should have experience with surgical and cardiac neonatal patients, managing respiratory conditions, and caring for patients with trach tubes or central lines. Therapies and devices used include nasal cannula, Bubble Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (CPAP), ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (NIRS), warmers, and isolettes. Floating policy includes coverage for areas such as Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Pediatrics, and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU).
