• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Schedule Options: 4x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, or 3x12s from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with limited call requirement
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend, subject to unit needs

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience
• Experience in NICU II and NICU III settings required
• At least 1 year of Epic charting experience required
• BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Ability to care for neonatal patients with complex medical and surgical needs
• Flu vaccination required; COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Must be comfortable floating to other qualified NICU areas as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, developmentally appropriate care to neonates in a high-acuity NICU
• Monitor and manage infants requiring advanced respiratory support and specialized interventions
• Administer medications, fluids, feeds, and blood products according to patient needs
• Support infants with diagnoses such as respiratory distress, sepsis, withdrawal, hypoglycemia, and congenital anomalies
• Perform and assist with specialized neonatal procedures, including chest tube management, therapeutic hypothermia, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to provide safe, effective patient care
• Document accurately in Epic and maintain thorough, timely charting
• Educate and support families throughout the NICU care experience
• Maintain patient safety while working with specialized equipment and monitoring systems
