The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) registered nurse position is located in Nashville, Tennessee. This role involves providing specialized care for neonatal patients within a dedicated NICU setting. The selected candidate will play a vital role in supporting critically ill newborns, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, and STABLE certification. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Units.
- Preferred Qualifications: Previous NICU experience required.
- Additional Information: The unit specific policies and guidelines must be adhered to. The NICU has a staffing ratio of 2-3:1 and utilizes Philips monitors with documentation supported by Meditech and Centricity Perinatal systems. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on neonatal care protocols. The hospital emphasizes staff experience, technological advancements, and team cohesion to support clinical excellence.
