Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Level III position is based in an acute care setting specializing in the care of critically ill neonates. The role involves managing highly complex and high-acuity neonatal patients, with a focus on providing advanced respiratory support, therapeutic cooling, and comprehensive neonatal assessments. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), 3+ years of Level III NICU experience, therapeutic cooling experience, ability to independently manage high-acuity neonates, strong clinical skills in ventilator management, invasive line care, medication administration, neonatal stabilization, and emergency response. The candidate must have hands-on experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP/NIPPV, and high-flow oxygen, as well as managing central lines, PICC lines, umbilical lines (UAC/UVC), and other invasive devices.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with neonatal resuscitation and stabilization, ability to provide emotional support to families, and previous travel experience preferred for traveler roles.
  • Additional Information: This position requires excellent documentation skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-pressure NICU environment with minimal supervision. Candidates must possess a strong understanding of neonatal pharmacology and supportive care protocols.
