Description
Bestica is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Atlanta, Georgia.
Job Description & Requirements

Assignment Highlights
- Level III NICU – Special Care Nurseries
- Large-volume delivery hospital
- 12-hour night shifts
- Travel candidates only
- Candidates residing within 50 miles are not eligible
Your Role
- Provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns.
- Monitor newborns’ vital signs, clinical conditions, and responses to treatment.
- Administer medications and treatments according to neonatal care protocols.
- Support respiratory care, feeding, and other essential neonatal interventions.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and the healthcare team.
- Educate and support families throughout their newborn’s care.
✅ Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU nursing experience.
- Active RN license applicable to the assignment.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Experience with Cerner.
- Level III NICU experience in a large-volume delivery hospital.
Important Contract Requirements
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
- Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve.
- Compliance documents are due by Wednesday before the Monday start date.
- Badge photo required.
