Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Winchester, TN. This role involves providing specialized care for newborns in a level 2 NICU within a fully accredited acute and skilled care facility. The position ensures patient safety and supports team collaboration in a fast-paced environment during night shifts.

Job Details

  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, STABLE, and RN licensure in TN are required.
  • Education Requirements: Must have valid RN licensure to work in TN.
  • Location Requirements: Candidates must be at least 60 miles or greater from the facility.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience in a level 2 or higher NICU setting.
  • Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Primary Responsibilities: Deliver direct patient care to laboring/postpartum moms and newborns, utilizing NICU equipment such as CPAP, Vent, UVC, IV, and maintaining accurate documentation in Meditech and OB Tracevue.
  • Additional Information: Unit staffed with 4 labor rooms, 9 postpartum beds, and 4 NICU beds. The NICU cares for newborns with conditions like respiratory distress and hypoglycemia.
