Job Summary:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in Nashville, TN. This role involves providing specialized care for premature and critically ill newborns in a busy hospital setting. The nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, following established protocols and policies.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with rotating weekends and holiday requirements
• Required Qualifications: Nursing license; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); STABLE certification; 3.0 years of experience in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit; active nursing license and certifications in the appropriate state; no experience minimum requirements listed for initial qualifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous NICU experience preferred.
• Additional Information: Unit specifics include 60 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2-3:1. Staff are equipped with Philips monitors and utilize Meditech & Centricity Perinatal documentation systems. The unit maintains a float policy to comparable high-need areas. Candidates should have advanced skills pertinent to neonatal procedures and certifications required as listed. The uniform is Navy or ceil blue, any shade of grey, or white scrubs, with no long sleeves, watches, rings, or nail polish.
