Job Details
- Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 2 years of experience, valid compact state license, certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), ability to attend high-risk deliveries, and proficiency in NICU-specific skills including ventilator management, feeding tube placement, neonatal dosages, and neonatal charting system experience
- Preferred Qualifications: None specified
- Float: Float rotation may be required if staffing needs arise
- Additional Information: Candidates should have experience caring for infants in Level II NICU and be comfortable attending both vaginal and cesarean deliveries. NICU travel nurses are not expected to care for mother-baby couplets unless they possess the necessary skills and competencies. Providers may need to float between nearby facilities if required by staffing needs. Candidates are required to respond to specific questions supplied during submission, including prior work at Providence facilities. A minimum of 2 references covering at least 6 months within the last 3 years are required prior to start.
