Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Unit Details:

• Number of Beds: 32
• Number of Staff: 63
• Types of Staff:
  • 1 charge nurse
  • 1/2 unit clerk
  • Necessary nurses to care for patients
• Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3
• Type of Equipment:
  • Ventilators
  • Oscillators
  • Vapotherm
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Centricity Perinatal and Meditech

Qualifications

Required Skills:

• Ventilator experience
• Experience with infants from 23 weeks to over 40 weeks gestation

Preferred Skills:

• Ventilator/Oscillator experience
• CPN charting experience

Typical Procedures Performed:

• Intubations
• Assistance with eye exams
• Feeding tube insertions
• IV insertions

Best Personality Fit: Candidates should be collaborative and team-oriented.

Required Certifications: CPR, NRP

Floating Areas: Level II NICU and Newborn Nursery

Work Details

Dress Code: Royal Blue Scrubs

Weekend Requirements: 3-4 weekends per month
