ProKatchers is seeking a travel nurse RN Neurology for a travel nursing job in Topeka, Kansas.
Float Requirements : Yes; other post-surgical floors and other med surg inpatient floors.
On Call/Call Back Requirements : N/A.
Certifications : AHA BLS required at time of submission. CPI and NIHSS are a bonus if candidate has them.
License : KS or Multistate license. No Hits allowed, no exceptions.
Note - all required certs and licensure must be added at time of submission. No first-time travelers. Local travelers accepted at the same rate (no radius rule.
Education : ADN or BSN.
Minimum Experience : 1 year of acute care medical/surgical experience.
Charting System : Epic (test out option available).
Unit Overview : 31 bed unit that cares for acute & subacute stroke (ischemic & hemorrhagic), transient ischemic attack, medically unstable psychiatric illness, suicidal, alcohol detox, acute neurological illnesses, general medical concerns.
