- ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment must be completed during orientation.
Description:
This position is for a registered nurse specializing in stepdown neuro care.
The nurse will work the night shift.
The shift hours are from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
Progressive care experience is preferred but not required.
Travelers must work at least every other holiday.
Active certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required at the time of submission.
Travelers must complete background checks, which will be reviewed by the facility.
No open background cases will be accepted.
Nurses and CSTs are exempt from nicotine-free requirements.
All other travelers must be nicotine-free.
A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required within 12 months of start date.
Travel candidates must complete annual competency requirements if contracted continuously for one year.
Modules may be required as part of ongoing training and education.
Additional time may be needed for completing required modules prior to starting work.
