The unit consists of 52 beds with a patient-nurse ratio of 4:1. Travelers may float between different areas of the Neuro Floor. Nurses will be expected to handle patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5. A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required. Candidates must have specific experience in Neuro nursing. Experience with Cardene and Cleviprex administration is required. The ability to read and interpret EKG rhythms is necessary. Candidates must verify degree accreditation or have 5 years of relevant experience.
