    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | 36 Hours/Week | 12-Hour Day Shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Every Other Weekend & Every Other Holiday

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in an 8-bed Neuro ICU setting, managing a population that includes stroke, TBI, head injury, and neurosurgery patients
    • Perform comprehensive neurological assessments and monitor patients with EVDs and ICP monitoring devices
    • Assist with and manage basic bedside ICU procedures including line placement and intubation, as well as neuro-specific procedures such as bolt and drain bedside placements with neurosurgery
    • Float between Neuro Critical Care ICU and Med/Surg ICU units, with possible float to other critical care and inpatient units as needed
    • Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC
    • Comply with all facility health and safety policies, including mandatory masking requirements during flu season for staff who decline applicable vaccinations
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Wisconsin RN License required
    • BLS and ACLS certification (AHA or ARC) required
    • NIHSS certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Med/Surg ICU and/or Neuro ICU with strong neurological assessment skills
    • EPIC charting experience required
    • Familiarity with EVDs and ICP monitoring required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • At least 1 prior travel assignment in a critical care or neuro ICU setting
    • Experience as a Neuro Interventionalist
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage tasks efficiently, and adapt well to change
