Contract | Days and Nights Available | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00–19:30 (Day) / 19:00–7:30 (Night)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Neuro ICU setting within a teaching hospital environment
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status using Epic electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Respond to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate interventions in accordance with clinical protocols
- May be reassigned to a different department, unit, or facility within the system based on staffing needs, provided requisite job specifications are met
Required Qualifications
- Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submittal)
- BSN required
- AHA BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience
- Teaching hospital experience required
- All prior employment with any University of California medical facility or affiliated/acquired facilities must be disclosed at time of submittal, including dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
- 2 professional references from most recent employer required at time of submittal
- Local candidates are welcome and are considered on the same basis as travel candidates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NIHSS certification
- Prior Neuro ICU experience
- Prior Trauma ICU experience
