    Job Title

    RN - Neuro ICU

    Schedule / Job Type

    Full-Time, Permanent, Onsite | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift

    Key Responsibilities
    • Coordinate clinical care for patients in a dedicated Neuroscience ICU setting, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric populations
    • Integrate all health care providers to ensure high-quality patient and family outcomes
    • Initiate and develop individualized plans of care, including patient and family education
    • Manage utilization and discharge planning in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
    • Provide care for patients with diagnoses including traumatic brain injury, ischemic stroke, intracerebral and subarachnoid hemorrhage, spinal cord injury, CNS tumors, status epilepticus, and neuromuscular illnesses
    • Support overflow care for medical, surgical, and cardiac ICU patients as needed
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Hawaii
    • Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current PALS certification (if not certified upon hire, must obtain within three months of start date)
    • Minimum of twelve (12) months of ICU RN experience, preferably within the last three (3) years
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BSN)
    • Prior experience in a Neuroscience or Neuro ICU environment
    • Familiarity with neurological conditions such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neuromuscular illness
