Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Every other weekend and every other holiday required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Neuro ICU setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, adjustable based on acuity
Monitor and assess neurological patients, recognizing and responding to changes in condition
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Float to the Neuro IMC unit as needed based on staffing and patient census
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in good standing
Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience
Current BLS certification
Current ACLS certification
Current NIHSS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
CCRN, SCRN, or CNRN certification
Prior experience in a Neuro ICU or Neuro IMC environment
Proficiency with Epic EMR
