Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in the Neuro ICU. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Schedule

• Evening/Night shifts available
• Options for 12-hour shifts (3x12 or 4x12) with every other weekend
• Some holidays may be required

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Neuro ICU and IMC patient population. Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborating with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educating patients and families on plans of care and post-discharge needs
• Documenting patient progress and outcomes in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications (must be AHA certified)
• ICU experience is required
• Neurosurgery experience is preferred
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system is required
• Ability to pass a Telemetry test prior to starting
