Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Neuro ICU team. The ideal candidate will possess strong critical care experience, particularly in neurosurgery, and be adept at working with both ICU and IMC patient populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Neuro ICU.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions and post-care management.

Work Schedule

The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with options for:

• 3x12-hour shifts (Nights: 19:00 - 07:30, Days: 07:00 - 19:30)
• 4x12-hour shifts
• Blocked schedules, including a Friday to Sunday option

Every other weekend and some holiday shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license is required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) are mandatory.
• ICU experience is required; neurosurgery experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Epic EMR is required.
• Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
