Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro ICU

The Neuro ICU is a specialized 12-bed critical care unit that focuses on the intensive management of patients experiencing life-threatening neurological and neurosurgical conditions. Key cases handled in this unit include:

• Central nervous system tumors
• Complex spine surgery
• Acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
• Endovascular interventions
• Traumatic brain injury
• Spinal cord injury
• Neuromuscular diseases
• Status epilepticus
• Central nervous system infections

Work Schedule

Shifts are available for either 36 or 48 hours per week. The position requires:

• Nights
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday, with a requirement to work 2 out of the 3 winter holidays

Qualifications

Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIH stroke certification is required, but submissions are acceptable while pending
• Must have prior Epic experience
• Adherence to float policy is mandatory
• Ability to submit with a pending VA license is accepted
