Candidates must have all required licenses and certifications in hand to submit. There is a weekend requirement of every other weekend. Patient ratios are 1:2. Experience in using the Epic charting system is required. Float may be required to other units. Candidate must have experience managing a variety of patients, including post-surgical trauma and neuro patients requiring frequent checks. Special equipment includes EVD management, ICP monitoring, and cooling protocols post-cardiac arrest. The unit is a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover, requiring strong support among team members. Interdisciplinary support is available through various departments, including physical therapy and pharmacy. Candidates should be able to manage complex patient care needs, including the administration of medications and monitoring of vital signs.
