# Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – New York**Start Date:** October 5, 2026 **Location:** Albany, New York **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** 48 hours per week; shift and rotation details available upon interviewHighlights:
- Trauma Level One ICU environment with diverse patient population including trauma, surgical, and neurological cases
- Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
- Navy blue scrubs required as part of professional dress code
- 13-week assignment with potential for extension based on performance and facility need
- Competency assessment required within 24 hours of application submission
Requirements:
- Active and unencumbered New York State Registered Nurse license (or compact license with willingness to obtain NY licensure)
- Minimum 2 years of staff ICU experience required, specifically in trauma, surgical, AND neurological patient populations
- Trauma Level One experience mandatory
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications current and in good standing
- Ability to complete competency testing promptly upon submission
