This unit specializes in the care of critically ill adult patients with a variety of neuro diagnoses. Key diagnoses include stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, surgical resections, and trauma. The role requires strong critical thinking skills and the ability to perform specialized interventions and procedures. Responsibilities include hemodynamic monitoring and hypothermia protocol. Work in an 18-bed critical care unit certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Join a team that values nurse-driven collaboration and partnership with other healthcare professionals. Candidates must possess experience with accessing and managing ports, arterial line management, and care of ventilated patients.
