Many patients are post-operative from neurosurgical procedures. Providers specialize in post-operative neurosurgical care to neurologically complex patients. This includes patients with strokes, brain tumors, and nerve and muscle diseases. The patient population requires care providers to interface between the brain and other vital organ systems. Weekend shifts involve working 3 of 6 weekends. Call schedule includes 2 on-call shifts per 6-week schedule. Floating may be required to areas with similar skill sets in ICU settings. Holidays may be required as needed.
