Travel Nurse RN - Neuro ICU - $2,264 per week in Columbus, OH

You'll work alongside a dedicated interdisciplinary team committed to providing the highest level of neurocritical care while managing challenging cases including traumatic brain injuries, cerebrovascular surgery patients, and advanced neuromonitoring. Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: November 30, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 hours per week; weekend shifts (Friday and Saturday nights for night shift); patient ratio 2:1

Highlights:

• Specialized neurological ICU serving patients with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages, seizures, neuromuscular diseases, and post-operative neurosurgery cases
• Hands-on experience with invasive neuromonitoring including external ventricular drains (EVD) and intracranial pressure (ICP) monitoring
• Advanced procedures including bedside tracheostomy, PEG tube placement, central line and arterial line management, and ventilator management
• Epic EMR system; comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Floating to units of equivalent or lower acuity may be required; up to two pre-approved time-off periods available
• Access to multiple parking options with 24/7 availability and shuttle services

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (American Heart Association certifications only)
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure monitoring
• Epic charting system experience required
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
