Job Opportunity – Neuro ICU Registered Nurse – Tennessee
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Tennessee
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Three weekend shifts per 4-week schedule; Holiday availability required; 36-hour orientation; 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts

- Neuro ICU specialization with 9-bed unit caring for post-TPA, post-surgical, stroke, and traumatic brain injury patients
- Epic EMR system – recent experience within the last 18 months required
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more
- Float opportunities to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units for skill development
- First-time travelers welcome – same rate offered to both local and traveling candidates
- Adult and geriatric patient population with daily census of 8 patients
Requirements:
- Valid Tennessee or Compact RN license (must be active at time of submission)
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Telemetry experience required; 2 years preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic charting system experience within the past 18 months – must be documented and verified; Epic competency exam required
- Must be willing to float to other ICUs, Med/Surg/Telemetry, and Progressive Care units as needed
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
- Previous charge experience and community hospital experience preferred
