Must-Have:
Experience with care of ventilated patients
Experience with continuous IV sedation
Experience with ICP monitoring
Experience with procedural sedation administration and monitoring
Experience with neuro patients in the ICU setting
Demonstrated proficiency in stroke care
Description:
Position requires neuroscience ICU Level 1 experience.
Locals are allowed at the same rate.
EPIC charting experience is required with a minimum of 2 years experience.
Candidates must have prior charge experience.
Candidates should have knowledge of patient ratios and charting system experience.
Preferred experience includes Trauma Level I.
Travel experience is not required.
Candidates must be able to float within scope if needed.
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
A valid nursing license in Virginia or a compact state must be in hand at the time of application.
Candidates will complete modules during orientation, which are required to be finished by the end of the orientation week.
All candidates are required to provide two references.
Candidates are not allowed to start until background checks and required screenings are completed.
The facility has specific policies regarding natural nails for staff.
