The successful candidate will coordinate all nursing care for patients based on established clinical nursing practice standards. They will collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contributing to the provision of quality nursing care through performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care is essential. The candidate will collect patients' health data and analyze assessment data to determine patient problems. Identifying expected outcomes individualized to each patient is required. They will develop a comprehensive plan of care that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes. Implementing interventions identified in the plan of care and evaluating patients' progress toward the attainment of outcomes is crucial. The candidate will assist with the plan of care, evaluate, modify and coordinate care, and communicate well with other disciplines. Delegating tasks to unlicensed personnel in compliance with the Board of Nursing is necessary. Conducting discharge planning and assisting patients/significant others in obtaining knowledge about illness, injury prevention, and teaching will be part of the role. Maintaining confidentiality with all information is mandatory. The candidate will perform any and all other duties as assigned.
