The unit also accommodates patients with medically unstable psychiatric illnesses, suicidal tendencies, and alcohol detoxification needs. Nurses will deliver high-quality patient care using clinical expertise and collaborative teamwork. Candidates should be prepared to float to other post-surgical and medical-surgical inpatient floors as needed. Staffing ratios are 1:6. Visible tattoos are permitted as long as they are not offensive or inappropriate for a professional setting. Piercings must not interfere with job duties and must maintain a professional appearance. Immunity status for Hep B, MMR, and Varicella, either by titer or vaccination proof, is required. Documentation of TDaP and influenza vaccination or exemption is also needed.
