Description:
The clinical team will interview candidates for this position.
If selected, an offer will be extended on behalf of the facility.
The unit consists of two sections with one having 20 beds and the other 17 beds.
The nurse-to-patient ratio is 4:1.
Registered Nurses are required to titrate heparin drips.
Charge nurses are present on each shift and are responsible for taking an assignment.
There are nurse aides and patient care technicians on the unit.
Their duties include assisting RNs and supporting patient care.
Registered Nurses may be required to troubleshoot CPAP and High Flow equipment.
Registered Nurses will read their own telemetry strips.
The unit requires weekend work for four weekends in a six-week schedule.
Holidays require one major holiday and one minor holiday.
There are no call requirements for this position.
Floating may be required as needed.
The dress code consists of navy scrubs.
Unit-specific orientation will be provided.
