Neuro experience preferred. Description: This position requires a skilled registered nurse specializing in medical surgical neuro care. Ratios are 1:5-6, with possible scheduling flexibility. Requires a commitment to work during catastrophic events or disasters as part of a team. The unit handles neuro surgical procedures and diagnoses. Candidates must be open to floating within the facility as needed. The nursing unit is supported by interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapy and pharmacy. Candidates should possess experience with telemetry and maintaining IVs. Weekend shifts are part of the contract, with a requirement of 12-16 weekend shifts per agreement. Additional duties may be assigned depending on unit needs.
