Job TitleRegistered Nurse - NICU

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend (EOW) Required | 1 Winter Holiday and 1 Summer Holiday Required
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care in a Level III NICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Care for micro-preemies and patients requiring high frequency ventilation
- Participate in couplet care practices alongside a dedicated Stork RN on each shift
- Float among up to five designated hospital locations based on staffing needs and within your skillset
- Complete orientation modules as required by specialty; modules are billable and tracked via transcripts
Required Qualifications- Minimum 2-3 years of NICU specialty experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months
- Level III NICU experience required
- Experience with micro-preemies and high frequency ventilation required
- Active BLS certification required; must not expire within 30 days of assignment start date
- NRP certification required; must be active and in hand at time of submission
- Active New Jersey or Compact RN license required; must be verified via Nursys within 2 weeks of submission and reflect active status - pending licenses are not accepted
- All licenses and certifications must be active and attached at time of submission; pending credentials are not accepted
- Candidates living within 50 miles of the primary facility are subject to the local pay rate
- Willing to float among five designated hospital locations based on staffing needs
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Must be clean shaven for fit testing prior to working on the unit
- Pre-employment labs must be completed within 48 hours of signing
- Time-off requests (RTO) must be submitted at the time of profile submission; requests made after submission will not be accepted, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of the assignment
- Block scheduling is not permitted
Preferred Experience / Skills- Epic EMR experience preferred
- Experienced travelers preferred; first-time travelers may be considered
