    Travel RN – NICU (Nights)

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Special Care Nursery Level II setting for neonates 32 weeks gestation and above
    • Administer IV antibiotics, dextrose infusions, TPN/Lipids, and support PO/NG feedings
    • Manage oxygen support modalities including Nasal CPAP and assist with surfactant administration
    • Maintain umbilical lines and operate specialized equipment including Giraffes, Pandas, and syringe/Hospira pumps
    • Attend vaginal and cesarean section deliveries utilizing NRP skills; float to Postpartum for well newborn care and NRN role in L&D as needed
    • Deliver family-centered care in partnership with mothers and families using the Meditech EMR system
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience in a Level II or greater hospital setting
    • Active Compact RN License required at time of submission
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Ability to fulfill weekend commitment of 4 shifts per 4-week period and 12 hours of on-call per schedule
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • STABLE Certification
    • Nursing specialty certification within NICU or neonatal care
    • Experience with family-centered care models in a neonatal setting
