    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekends Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a NICU setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
    • Participate in weekend shifts on a variable schedule as required
    • Float between sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
    • Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
    • Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience required
    • Proficiency with Epic charting system
    • Ability to commit to contracted schedule including weekends and required holidays
    • Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
    • 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
    • Familiarity with variable patient acuity ratios in a NICU setting
    • Prior travel nursing experience
