Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a NICU setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Provide direct patient care in a NICU setting within a short-term acute care, Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
Maintain patient ratios of 1:1, 1:2, or 1:3 depending on patient acuity and unit needs
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records system
Participate in weekend shifts on a variable schedule as required
Float between sister facilities as needed per assignment requirements
Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience required
Proficiency with Epic charting system
Ability to commit to contracted schedule including weekends and required holidays
Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years required prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a teaching hospital environment
Familiarity with variable patient acuity ratios in a NICU setting
Prior travel nursing experience
