    Job Title

    Travel RN – NICU / Special Care Nursery Level 2 (7AM–7PM)

    Location

    Somerset, Kentucky

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 Hours Per Week Guaranteed | 13-Week Assignment | 2 Weekend Shifts Per Month Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in an 8-bed Special Care Level 2 Nursery, including full-term, early-term, and pre-term neonates
    • Manage common neonatal diagnoses and treatments including NAS/NOWS, TTN, IV antibiotics, Bubble CPAP, and OG/NG feeds
    • Attend deliveries and initiate and manage NRP resuscitation as needed
    • Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3 in accordance with unit standards
    • Document patient care accurately using Meditech and GE Centricity EHR systems
    • Float to Mother/Baby Postpartum unit as required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Level 2 Special Care Nursery or higher NICU experience
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
    • Current STABLE certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • Must reside 60 miles or greater from facility to qualify for travel assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience attending deliveries and independently initiating and running NRP resuscitation
    • Mother/Baby couplet care or postpartum nursing experience
    • Familiarity with Meditech and/or GE Centricity EHR platforms
