Contract | Night Shifts | 12-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 6:30 PM / 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level II Special Care Nursery (SCN) setting
- Monitor and assess the condition of newborns requiring specialized care
- Collaborate with Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) and Neonatology staff available 24/7
- Implement and follow evidence-based neonatal care protocols and procedures
- Support families through education and compassionate communication regarding infant care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current BLS certification
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current S.T.A.B.L.E. Program certification
- Demonstrated experience in NICU Level II or Special Care Nursery (SCN) nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of SCN or NICU nursing experience
- Familiarity with newborn nursery workflows and high-volume birth settings
