    Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Projected Start: September 21, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide routine and complex nursing care in a Level 2 Neonatal ICU setting, practicing independently and demonstrating awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations
    • Utilize the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — consistent with ANA Scope and Standards of Practice
    • Administer medications and treatments per appropriate protocols; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
    • Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
    • Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and thoroughly
    • May float to mother/baby unit as needed; assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and caregivers
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license in the state of Texas or a compact state license
    • Current STABLE (Post-resuscitation/Pre-transport Stabilization Care of Sick Infants) certification required (Participant, Lead Instructor, or Support Instructor)
    • Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association only)
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in NICU or related neonatal nursing specialty
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • Experience in a Perinatal setting or completion of a Perinatal RN Residency program
    • Demonstrated ability to make appropriate assignments and delegate effectively to other care team members
