    Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days, Evenings, Nights) with 1 Night of Call | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed Level 2B Special Care Nursery encompassing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, OR, ANU, and Recovery Room
    • Deliver specialized care for Special Care Nursery and newborn patient populations across rotating shift assignments (7a–7p, 11a–11p, 7p–7a)li>Maintain safe clinician-to-patient ratios: L&D 1:2–3 evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural; Postpartum 1:3–4
    • Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using EPIC EMR
    • Participate in on-call obligations including 1 night of call per schedule rotation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 3 years of NICU/Special Care Nursery experience in a single location, or minimum 2 years of experience as a travel nurse in a NICU/Special Care Nursery setting
    • Demonstrated skill set in Special Care Nursery and newborn care
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    • Proficiency with EPIC EMR
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working within a combined maternal-newborn unit inclusive of L&D, Postpartum, and OR environments
    • Comfort with rotating shift schedules including day, evening, and night rotations
