    Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 25-bed Level 2B Special Care Nursery encompassing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Newborn Nursery, OR, ANU, and Recovery Room
    • Manage a rotating day shift schedule (7a–7p, 11a–11p, 7p–7a) including one night of on-call; evening and night shifts do not rotate
    • Maintain appropriate clinician-to-patient ratios: L&D 1:2–3 evaluations, 1:1 for active labor, magnesium drip, or epidural; Postpartum 1:3–4
    • Deliver Special Care Nursery and newborn care across all patient populations with an average daily census of 15–25 mothers, babies, and labor patients
    • Document all patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or compact eligibility
    • Minimum 3 years of NICU/Special Care Nursery experience in a single location, or a minimum of 2 years of experience as a travel nurse in NICU/Special Care Nursery
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Special Care Nursery and newborn care
    • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior experience with EPIC EMR charting system
    • Experience working in a combined L&D, Postpartum, and Special Care Nursery environment
