Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
- Complete required orientation modules during the first week of assignment
- Float within scope of practice as needed across applicable units
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EPIC electronic health records
- Adhere to facility policies including natural nail policy and all compliance requirements
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Active RN license in Virginia or a compact state — must be in hand at time of submission
- BLS certification required
- NRP certification required
- EPIC charting experience required — no exceptions
- 2 professional references required
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate — no radius restrictions
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Experience floating within scope across multiple unit types
