    Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU – Nights

    Contract (Travel) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week Guaranteed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neonatal patients in a Level 3 or higher NICU setting.
    • Deliver comprehensive nursing services while demonstrating knowledge of cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the neonatal population.
    • Manage and monitor patients requiring ventilator support in accordance with unit protocols and competency standards.
    • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with families and caregivers as part of the care planning process.
    • Exercise continuous clinical judgment and decision-making to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes throughout the episode of care.
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to individual competency level, and fulfill additional shift requirements per scheduling period.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada RN license prior to start date.
    • Current BLS certification (required).
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification (required).
    • Minimum of 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher.
    • Ventilator training and demonstrated competency in ventilator management.
    • Prior travel nursing experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume, academically advanced NICU environment with complex neonatal cases.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to variable schedules, including weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
