    Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Travel | Onsite | Nights | 3x12 Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of neonatal patients and their families.
    • Deliver comprehensive nursing services within the NICU, demonstrating knowledge of the cognitive and psychosocial needs specific to the neonatal population.
    • Diagnose and treat human responses to health problems while maintaining individualized patient outcomes across the entire episode of care.
    • Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals as needed, incorporating family members into the care planning process when appropriate.
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level, and fulfill additional shift requirements per scheduling period.
    • Maintain intensive and continuous mental effort to ensure optimal, safe patient care and sound clinical judgment in all interactions and decisions.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada RN license prior to start date.
    • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
    • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
    • Minimum of 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a Level III NICU or higher.
    • Ventilator training and demonstrated competency required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-acuity, Level III or Level IV NICU environment with complex neonatal cases.
    • Familiarity with travel nursing expectations, including schedule flexibility across weekends, holidays, and call shifts.
