    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – NICU (Nights)

    Location

    Reno, NV | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | 3x12 Night Shifts | 36 Hours Guaranteed per Week

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide optimal patient care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within a Neonatal ICU setting
    • Deliver comprehensive nursing services to neonatal patients and their families, demonstrating knowledge of age-specific cognitive and psychosocial needs
    • Operate and monitor ventilator equipment as part of patient care responsibilities; ventilator training is required
    • Coordinate care across interdisciplinary teams, exercising sound clinical judgment and decision-making in a high-acuity environment
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to individual competency level
    • Fulfill scheduling requirements including weekends, holidays, call shifts, and one additional shift per schedule period
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain and maintain a State of Nevada RN license prior to start
    • BLS certification required
    • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
    • Minimum 3 years of exclusive NICU experience in a Level 3 NICU or higher
    • Ventilator trained
    • Prior travel nursing experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a high-volume, high-acuity neonatal intensive care environment
    • Familiarity with complex neonatal patient populations and family-centered care models
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying schedules and departmental needs
